Hi All
Please find the clubs invite here You are welcom to forward this link to any club wishing to participate.
Hi Guys. This is a community area for our club. Please feel free to add comments and content as and when it suits you. I noticed most clubs on the web do have something similar but most of them are not kept up to date. I will try my best not to let it happen here.

Clubs Preperation
Hi
It is already the middle of September and and time is flying. Preperations for clubs are well on the way and the pool will probably be filled by this weekend coming.
Everything seems to be on track and we even managed to secure a few sponsors (thanks June and Doc)
Invites will be going out this week which will be our first big milestone.
I can't wait.

ORCA wins club's tender
Hi All
It has been a while since i posted anything mostly because not much has happened on the hockey front since my last post. Until now...
Orca is hosting Clubs '09
This means that we as a club will host the tournament at the end of the year. The venue will be the SE2 municipal pool in Vanderbijlpark and the dates will be confirmed shortly.
We are looking for any volunteers to help with the arrangements
Please let us know if you are interested to help.
Thanks

Winter League
Hockey season officially closed on the 31st March and will re-open on the 1st September 2009. Everyone is welcome to join us for the winter league at Wahoo Aquatic Centre near Megawatt Park. Orca will be visiting the Normal-Air club every Wednesday evening for some winter hockey in their heated indoor facility. The cost is R30 per game payable at the pool.
See you there!
See you there!
Glow-In-The-Dark feedback
Last night the 31st March we had our season closing glow-in-the-dark game and as usual it was great. We had enough players pitch to make 3 full teams and water conditions were perfect. Unfortunately there are no pictures for the evening since the lights was switched off.
Everyone had a great time and most stayed for a Boerrie-Roll afterwards together with a few "beverages".
Can't wait to do it again...

GUHA colours evening
Hi everyone.
The Gauteng Colours Evening went ahead this past Saturday and in my opinion it was a great success. All the teams with the exception of the Mens A team (who only had 3 players present) was very well represented.

The formal proceedings took about an hour to complete and everybody was very cheerful. It was followed by some snacks that definitely filled the gaps. The Orcas then went to a little "After Party" at a sushi bar not to far from there and everybody had great time.
